The client portfolio gives you a centralized view of every client you work with. Each client has a profile page showing their deals, proposals, and key details — so you can find context quickly without searching across multiple screens.

Client list

Navigate to Clients from the sidebar. You’ll see a searchable list of all your clients with their name and the number of associated deals and proposals.
Clients are created automatically when you enter a client name in a proposal or deal. You can also create them manually from the client list.

Client portfolio page

Click any client to open their portfolio. The page has three sections:

Overview

The top section shows the client’s name and basic contact information. You can edit these details inline.

Deals

All deals associated with this client. Each deal card shows the name, stage, expected value, and date. You can:
  • Click a deal to go to its detail page.
  • Create a new deal for this client — the client is pre-filled automatically.

Proposals

All proposals where the client name matches. Each proposal card shows the name, status, document type, and total value. Click any proposal to open it in the editor.

Creating a deal from a client

When you click Create deal from a client’s portfolio page, the deal form opens with the client already associated. This saves you from having to search and select the client manually.

Client association in deals

When you create a deal, you can select an existing client from a dropdown. The client’s name then appears on:
  • The deal detail page sidebar.
  • All proposals created from that deal (pre-filled in the editor).
  • The client’s portfolio page under the Deals section.
A deal can only be associated with one client. If a project involves multiple stakeholders, use the primary decision-maker as the deal’s client and note others in the deal timeline.

Client data flow

The diagram below shows how client information flows through Quikly:
  1. You enter a client name when creating a deal or proposal.
  2. If the client doesn’t exist, Quikly creates a client record automatically.
  3. When you create a proposal from a deal, the client name is pre-filled.
  4. When you create an addendum or renewal, the client is inherited from the parent proposal.
  5. All linked deals and proposals appear on the client’s portfolio page.
