General

Quikly is a proposal platform built for freelancers, dev shops, and technical consultancies who sell software projects. It uses AI to analyze briefs, structure scope, recommend market-calibrated rates, and generate professional proposals with delivery conditions, risk analysis, and scope protection. You review and control every number before sending.
Anyone who writes proposals for software projects: freelance developers, project managers, sales teams at agencies, cloud consultants, cybersecurity firms, data engineering teams, and technical consultancies. If you price and scope software work, Quikly is for you.
The app and AI features are fully available in English and Spanish. You can generate proposals in either language regardless of the UI language you use.
No. Quikly is a web application with a visual editor. You paste a brief or describe the project, and the AI handles requirement extraction, pricing, and document structure. If you want to use the API or MCP server, some technical knowledge helps, but it’s not required for the core product.

Proposals

  • Starter (free trial): 3 proposals during the 14-day trial
  • Professional: Unlimited proposals
  • Agency: Unlimited proposals
  • Lifetime: Unlimited proposals
Yes. You can update requirements, pricing, and settings at any time. If the proposal has already been shared, you can resend it so the client sees the latest version. The share link stays the same.
Quikly uses your hourly rate and the estimated story points for each requirement to calculate a base cost. It then applies modifiers for tech stack complexity, urgency, client type discounts, and taxes. You can adjust every modifier manually before sending.
Yes. In the proposal editor, you can toggle visibility for sections like timeline, differentiators, governance, and team breakdown. Hidden sections are excluded from the shared link and PDF export.
Yes. Professional, Agency, and Lifetime plans let you create custom clauses and save them in templates. You can include IP ownership terms, NDA clauses, payment schedules, SLA definitions, and any other legal text. These are included in the shared proposal and PDF.
Quikly supports six models:
  1. Technical Proposal — closed scope with detailed estimates and acceptance conditions
  2. Hour Bucket — blocks of hours with a scope cap
  3. Retainer — monthly hours at a preferred rate
  4. Time & Materials — hourly billing with a rate card and monthly cap
  5. Milestone-Based — deliverables with payments on completion
  6. Staff Augmentation — dedicated team with roles and seniority per phase

AI features

No. Your proposals, briefs, and client information are never used to train AI models. Quikly uses third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) to process requests in real time, but your data is not stored by those providers for training purposes.
No. Quikly includes AI capabilities on all plans using its own API keys. If you want to use your own Gemini or OpenAI key (for higher limits or to avoid shared quotas), you can configure it in My Profile → AI Settings.
Demo mode lets you try Quikly’s AI features with sample data — no account or API key needed. It’s available on the landing page and generates a preview proposal so you can see the output quality before signing up.
Quimy is the AI assistant inside Quikly. It analyzes your brief, structures scope, suggests market rates, and evaluates your proposal’s quality across six axes (pricing, structure, value, team, financial integrity, governance) before you send it. Quimy Pro, available on Agency and Lifetime plans, uses more advanced AI models for deeper analysis.

Sharing and client experience

No. Clients view, accept, reject, or request revisions through a shared link — no account or login required. They authenticate with the email address you authorized when sharing the proposal.
It depends on your proposal settings. By default, the client sees the total price and per-requirement breakdown, but you can toggle hourly rate visibility on or off in the proposal editor. Rate cards in team-based proposals follow the same toggle.
Yes. When sharing, you can authorize up to 2 email addresses. Only people with authorized emails can accept, reject, or request revisions. Anyone with the link can view the proposal, but only authorized contacts can take action. See sharing with colleagues for more details.

Security and privacy

All data is stored encrypted at rest. The application uses HTTPS for all communication. Database backups are encrypted and stored in a separate region.
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Quikly does not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Client data from shared proposals is retained only as long as the proposal is active.
Yes. When a client accepts a proposal, they sign electronically with explicit consent. Quikly records an audit trail including IP address, timestamp, and a SHA-256 hash of the document at the time of signature. This is compliant with the ESIGN Act (US), eIDAS (EU), and UNCITRAL.
Yes. Contact support or use the account settings to request full deletion. All proposals, client data, API keys, and webhook configurations are permanently removed.

Billing

No. The Starter plan includes a 14-day trial with 3 proposals — no payment method required.
Yes. No contracts, no questions asked. Cancel your Professional or Agency subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
A one-time payment of $149 that gives you everything in Professional forever — unlimited proposals, unlimited AI agent, Quimy Pro, lifetime updates, and an Early Adopter badge. No recurring charges.
