Viewing the proposal
Anyone with the link can view the proposal. There’s no login required to see the scope, pricing, timeline, and terms. You can forward the link via email, Slack, or any messaging tool.Who can respond?
While anyone can view, only people whose email addresses were authorized by the provider can take action (accept, reject, or request a revision). This prevents unauthorized parties from responding on your behalf. When you try to respond, Quikly asks for your email. If your email matches the authorized list, you proceed. If not, you’ll see a message asking you to contact the provider.Adding more people
There is no share button on the client side of the proposal. If you need to add a colleague to the authorized responders list, ask the provider (the person who sent you the proposal) to:- Open the proposal in Quikly
- Go to the share settings
- Add the new email address to the authorized list
What colleagues see
When a colleague opens the link, they see the same proposal you see — including all visible sections (requirements, pricing, timeline, governance, etc.). The view is identical regardless of who opens it.Common scenarios
”I need my CTO to review before I accept”
Forward the link. Your CTO can view everything. If the CTO needs to be the one who accepts, ask the provider to add the CTO’s email to the authorized list.”I want our legal team to review the terms”
Forward the link. The governance section includes delivery conditions, IP clauses, change management, and payment terms. Legal can review without an account.”My colleague accepted by mistake”
Contact the provider. They can view the acceptance record and work with you to resolve the situation — for example, by creating a revised proposal.”The link expired”
Share links expire after 15 days. Ask the provider to reshare the proposal. They’ll generate a new link and can send it to you directly.Privacy
- Quikly does not track who views the link beyond an anonymous view counter
- Only authorized emails are recorded when someone responds
- The provider can see the view count and response details, but not a list of everyone who opened the link
